I need ideas, because I suspect that there are cases of swine flu at school.

My kids already take their multi vitamin and I keep up their probiotics.

I read somewhere that around 25% of viruses are killed in the intestine.

I have thought about giving them Coconut oil, but how much?

Can the kids take Allimax?

What about olive leaf and Echinecea tea?

If they get the flu, I'm assuming these will work.

Thanks

Have you read any Dr Mercola's articles on Vit D? That might be one to try.

If you search his site, you should come up with many articles - and one of them did list how much Vit D to take per pound of body weight.

I'm using vit.D, vit. C, and multi- vits.for my kids, along with a product called Argentyn 23. It is a bioactive silver hydrosal (whatever that means) It's tasteless and I give them 1/2 tsp every evening. It was recommended by our Dr.

I also read recently that the flu virus is an airborn virus that will enter through the nose or throat. The article suggested snorting saline up the nose and gargling every evening. It also recommended drinking hot liquids to rinse the throat.

Yeah Vits D and C are key. As cactus says, dose accordingly for children...
