Gerard, nobody can answer this question, because the answer will be different for each person.
For some people, the progress of lyme disease is very slow. But, for others it is very, very fast.
Then, you have other people that are somewhere in between.
It seems to depend on the condition of the person's immune system, germ load (how many germs the tick gave you), and life style.
Don't drink alcohol, don't smoke, be sure to get good sleep every night if you can. These things will help your body fight off the germs. Also, eat raw garlic, twice per day, and if you can buy a supplement with CoQ10 in it, it will probably help your body.

Does anyone know if physicians are allowed to consult internationally - ie, if a physician from the US could consult with one in the Philippines?

I have not been able to sleep well since my symptoms have started. I have taken medicine to help me sleep but it doesn't work. I also have migraines and they keep me from resting. Does anyone have any suggestions.
