Where did I ever post that greens are bad and that we should not eat them ?
Never said we all should or could eat the same.
Will get back later for other questions.
And if the brain runs better on ketones why would it choose sugar if both were available ?

IMO + IME it is the application of the smarts that count ! Not just if you got them but what do you do with them.

Complex carbs are fine, when they are instact. You can eat plenty of red skin potatos, steel cut oats, some sprouted grain bread, beans, buckwheat grouts, you get the picture.
There is a lot of misinformation about candida. Keep in mind, the broken down complex carbs you eat, as well as veggies provide pre-biotics for the good flora. If you cut out all of those carbs (keep in mind, your health would get much worse if you cut out all carbs!), you will also cut out the food supply for the good guys!
It is a balancing act, meat is very acidic and slows digestions, disease loves this and so do candida. It isn't all about the carbs!
ketogenic diets are bad news.

I've had to increase the number of meals I eat in order to slow the weight loss. I try for 4-5 meals a day, and it's a chore. But it's better than a raging yeast infection.
Okay everyone, back to jennie46 now. Jennie, after fighting Lyme for almost 7 years and off abx for almost 2 years now, I think "valla...." suggestion is where you should start. You'll have to tweek it to suit you're own special needs, but we all have to do that.
Best to you.
