I have had to take Lunesta for years and have always tried to stop but needed the 5-6 hours it gave me. Have tried 5-htp many times with no help from it until about 3 weeks ago and I now often get 7 hrs.

Its crazy what made it work but since so many of you have to take drugs too I want to share just in case it might work for someone else too.

At night 30-60 minutes before going upstairs to bed I take 1 TBL. of Peter Gillmans Natural Calm magnesium and my probiotic and then when I get upstairs I will take my sleep pill.

Pee trips made me try and lower my liquid before sleep so one night I brought down the 5htp bottle and took the magnesium, probiotic & 5 htp all at once just before going upstairs.

It takes me about 20 minutes to brush my teeth and get into pj's and the first night and every since my sleep has been very good. One night

I got a family long late night phone call and after the call was asleep in 10 minutes and slept till morning.

A couple months ago I started Vit b complex and it really did make many parts of my body feel more balanced so that could be a small part to this. Oh yes I take 100mg. 5 htp

Great to hear that you are getting better Zzzzz's in a safe way.

I've heard many good reports on Peter Gillham Natural Calm, and just recently used it myself. Very nice.

Here is just one place people can find the various flavors of this.

Ive taken that magnesium for years and it never did any positive for sleep nor did the 5Hpt but perhaps there is a chemical reaction that takes place when I take them together.
