I have been having mucous discharge usually clear but sometimes pink. [Roll Eyes]
This time am having fresh blood.
Is there any correlation with Lyme.
Have had hard time on my list finding GYN.

Know need pap. but something came up yrs. ago that found was linked with Lyme & I have later stage many co-infections.

Anyone had this or know if any correlation?

This is totally fresh blood this time nothing else.

Have FM/Cfids/ME/EBV/+++ I know all linked.
We did find gene linked to Cfids/FM, just recently called XMRV/very toxic they know.
Finding anti viral to treat will be quite diff.
Thank You for any input. I have PA background know normally cervical cancer, being had hysterectomy but that was left.

Hugggsssss, to ALL in Need.... [group hug]

I'm not clear about what you are saying with "being had hysterectomy but that was left."

Is this the situation?:

1. You have had a hysterectomy

2. You are experiencing vaginal bleeding

3. You want to know if this is a lyme or other TBD (tick-borne disease) symptom

--

Whether your gyn is lyme literate or not, if you've had a hysterectomy and are bleeding it seems that a regular gyn could examine you and see if there might be some sort of tear, growth or other condition causing this. I would think the sooner the better.

While Lyme/TBD really can mess us up all the way around, not everything is lyme.

If you think some connection should be considered regarding a bacterial or viral link, if you have a LLMD, you might ask if a tissue sample would be of help and what lab/what test would they suggest.

Good luck.

i don't know your age but if you are post-menopausal and having bleeding it is very important to get to a doc. your primary would be a start if you can't get to gyn. but is is important to rule some stuff out

Could it be a bad vaginal yeast infection?

If you are on antibiotics it could be a bad yeast. But if you are taking something to prevent I would get it checked out. Normally if you have that bad a yeast which can appear in a day you would be itching to death, but I would suspect if you are severe neuro you may not even feel the itch, so I would still get it checked out. It could be something simple or serious.

Thrush is a yeast infection.

Have you used olive leaf extract?

Hi Kerryblue,

You said that you have no GYN's on your list. Is this an insurance list? Give your insurance provider a call to see if they can give you some more provider names.

Another option would be to see your family physician. Many around here do routine physicals, including paps. If they suspected any problems they could then refer you on for more testing or send you to a specialist.

If you do not have a family physician and you cannot afford to see a doctor you might want to find out if there are any free clinics in your area.

Take care and hugs to you [Smile]
