Over the past few weeks, my pain is suddenly outside the box of managing it or being able to live with it.

It started with my right shoulder, now both feel like they have been ripped out of their sockets. For the first time, I have visible swollen knuckles and can hardly use my right hand.

My whole spine hurts like heck. I have been treating Lyme/Babs for years and I don't recall ever being in this much pain. Why NOW?

I'm starting to dream about a morphine drip. I take mobic and muscle relaxers for pain. Not cutting it. I have a call in to LLMD and haven't received a call back yet.

Any ideas?

What prescription drugs are you currently on? A side effect, or a relapse of something? Maybe an untreated TBD like Bartonella?

You should probably see a doctor as soon as possible.

I'm treating with Omnicef, Malarone, Zithromax, Minocycline.

I'm starting out with one Minocycline per week and working up. I've taken one. This is the only change I can think of. I took one Mino over week ago, I don't think it could be that.

I've never been in this much pain and I've never noticed swollen joints. Perhaps my treatment isn't really targeting pain/Lyme arthritis? My neuro symptoms are better though.

I started really noticing the pain increase a few weeks ago, which is when the weather took a dive here.

I dunno.....but I cannot think, sleep or function even half way normal with this amount of pain. I need something for pain? What has helped any of you the most with pain? Have you taken pain meds with muscle relaxers and antidepressants?

I do take magnesium shots, quality fish oil and MSM along with mobic for inflammation.

I cannot live in this much pain.....I will take whatever works, what is it?

thank you

Add mangosteen to the list of anti-inflammatories.

I hope you find the solution soon, as I know what's it like to be in severe pain.
