- Yep. My guess is that many here have, with or without the EMG to tell them they are in pain.
With treatment, many symptoms can improve.
Certain kinds of therapy such as professional massage or stretches can also help, just as holding your hand, elbows, etc. wrong can make it worse.
B-Vitamins, magnesium, fish oil . . . some of the supplements helpful. Curcumin can help decrease inflammation that add to the pain of carpel tunnel.
Sleeping in wrist braces helped me a lot. Typing in wrist braces, too.
You might get a referral to an O.T. (occupational therapist) who can show you good ergonomics (how you hold your body and tools to take the strain off your wrists, etc.)
Hope you have various methods to help this get better, with lyme treatment at the top of your list. -
