I just want to know who here gets their symptoms returned with rage in cold?!

I have been on treatment since last Feb and i had improved alot in summer or at least those symptoms were gone in hot.

Now ever since winter has begun for the last week i feel like i was before is started treatment.

Flu like symptoms
Sore throat
Severe neurological symptoms like crawling on head, headache, severe ringing in the ears, jerks, tremors, pain, numbness tingling confusing, anxiety.
Ears stuffed with mucus.

In summer my stomach was the main issue now in winter everything is back! I am on abx biaxing and amoxy. When i take the meds it helps relieve some symptoms for time being.

I am tested negative for 3 lyme tests, one frm lab corp, hospital and igenex.

Could this be lyme or something else? PLEASE HELP i feel crazy in my head right now and so down! I thought i had improved but this cold is pushing me back extremly!

thanks

My symptoms are always worse in cold. Not sure what does it exactly, but the cold weather pushes me to my limit and my CNS goes completely haywire.

my joint pain is worse but i feel better in summer overall.

that's why i love our winters. they are so mild.

i think the change in temperature causes internal disruption of the lyme which manifests as new symptoms.

this has really happened to me this year more than any other year. Summer was great...and as it got colder symptoms slowly came back.

We had a few warm days and I bounced back to what I was during the summer and now back to the bottom again. All my symptoms are back..even the symptom of never being tired and never hungry.

It is very very frustrating.

Could it be that we get less sunlight in cooler weather?

I think several illnesses are worse in winter than summer.

Funny, it seems my symptoms are the opposite.

I feel like he(( in the summer--I guess I can't tolerate teh heat and humidity.

Once it cools down in fall, I start feeling a little better.

I feel much better in the winter also. The heat of summer wipes me out.

I have never noticed such a dramatic change (for the worse) until this year.

As the weather got colder here in CO, I've experienced the worst pain ever......in six years. And in places I've never had pain before (shoulders, legs and feet).

When I lived in CA, I didn't notice much change coensiding with weather. I sure am missing CA these days......

For me it seems I feel worse in extreme temps (hot or cold).

I hope you can stabalize your body temp. I need to work harder on this.

I am not sure what is the problem. I thought abx have worked all this time....could it be that i just felt better in summer cause of heat only.

I started meds in feb or march this year and by may-june i noticed a difference and then the whole summer i didnt have much neuro but alot of stomach issues but now since winter has began i feel so sick! My brain is sinking in all of these symptoms. I dont understand.

Is it really lyme...or something else.

Wow....is there a point on which your body can tolerate winter again after treatment?

One reason for being more miserable in the cold could be the toxins are freely exiting your body in the heat of summer (sweating is the best way to release toxins... according to your body... and the sinuses are the second best way)...

And in winter they are not getting released because of less sweating.... and they start to build up and/or go to the sinuses to be released.. giving you the "cold-like" symptoms.

MY theory.. no proof just from observation...

Some folks are much better in summer.. some in winter... because of the various life cycles and strains.

Another reason could be the cold makes muscles spasm and tighten up to try to produce the heat the body needs.. causing less blood flowing everywhere and less focus on ramping up the immune system.
