I am trying to dig deep for some answers for other options besides Flagyl.
I have to switch to something else.
I know of Tindamax. My doc is questioning it though and says that it is so closely related to Flagyl that he worrys I will have the same problems I did on Flagyl. The problem was after a couple months I had an amnesia episode...
I was presenting the idea of pulsing the Flagyl or Tindamax. He is asking me to take just doxy for two weeks and then will discuss it with me.
So I am researching any other ideas to bring to the table. I really liked Flagyl and am not happy to give it up.
If anyone has any other ideas for cyst busting and or protozoan action.. please let me know.
I have heard others say Allinia Plaquenil.
I have both those on hand as I have been on them both. So those may be Oral options.
Oh PS I was hoping to find an IV option. I am doing and reaction SOOOOOOOOO much better via IV>
Thanks for any ideas .. on this. I so appreciate your experience and ideas.

grapefruit seed extract - Citricidal -- is said to be a cyst buster along with also killing yeast.
I have found that the natural remedies do not produce as dramatic an improvement -- takes longer, but maybe a try if you can't tolerate flagyl or Tindamax.
(I was able to do Tindamax but not Flagyl -- did not have an amnesia episode, though)

Can you share your best source for purchasing?
Thanks for the suggestion...
This info is off a purchasing page so wanted to mention that but I did not know what Citricidal was?
Citricidal brand is the highest quality of extract manufactured. It contains 60% active ingredients (quaternary compound from grapefruit bioflavonoids) and 40% Vegetable Glycerin USP. Citricidal is an amber-colored liquid with a mild citrus aroma. It is non-toxic, biodegradable, non-corrossive, yet highly potent. This is the most potent formula available. Citricidal is triple the potency of regular strength sold elsewhere on the internet. Citricidal is not available in local stores.
Citricidal Triple Strength is used for the exact same purposes as the regular strength except that you will use 1/3 less of the Citricidal Triple Strength. Thus it is very economical to use in comparison!
According to studies, the activity of the active ingredient of Citricidal grapefruit seed extract appears to develop in the cytoplasmic membrane of the microorganisms. The active ingredients of the extract disorganize the cytoplasmic membrane, thereby preventing the uptake of amino acids. At the same time, there is a leakage of the cellular contents with low molecular weight through the cytoplasmic membrane. The pathogen is then inactivated. The time for this is generally shorter than that of most comparable preparations.
Grapefruit seed extract does not allow germs to build up a resistance. To date there is no evidence that any type of organism has ever built up a resistance to grapefruit seed extracts active ingredient. Due to the mode of its activity it is believed that this resistance is impossible as grapefruit seed extract disrupts the organisms cytoplasmic membrane.
What is not known is how GSE can affect the cell membranes of such a diverse group of microbes with virtually no toxicity toward animal life (The "Acute Oral Toxicity Study" performed by an independent laboratory concluded that you would have to take 4,000 times the normal adult dose to risk a 50% chance of poisoning). And to complicate matters further, since viruses do not have a cell membrane of their own, how is it that GSE can act as a remedy as it does.
