HELP! I have no flu symptoms such as cough, runny nose, sore throat. But have had a terribly painful Neck/back for 6 days.

Doc prescribed 2400 mg Ibuprofen, valium, and Flexeril. Pain eased with meds but persists. Now I have a fever!

I got the Flu and H1N1 vaccinations a long time ago with no adverse reactions. So, I don't suspect it's on of those.

Thoughts? Does this sound like an infection to you?

Are you sure you got both the regular flu and the H1N1 shots? I thought the H1N1 had only been available for a couple of weeks?

The big question is how high is your fever. From what I have read it can get really high from the H1N1 -- 103 plus.

Are you still taking the ibuprofen -- might try acetaminophen instead to see if that helps with the fever.

Have you changed any meds lately?

Yes, I'm certain I got both shots. Waited in a 2 hour line for the H1N1.

I did start Biaxin last Monday, but the neck/back pain started on Sunday, so kinda rules Biaxin out. RIght?

One study I saw (from Mercola) said those who get the H1N1 vaccines would be at INCREASED risk of getting the H1N1 flu.

Sorry to share this with you.

Lymetoo,

I thought it said that those who get the regular seasonal flu shot without getting the H1N1 shot were at increased risk of getting swine flu???? I read it awhile ago though and didn't go back to check if I had that right.

I had both shots. I never developed the flu. Dr thinks either an infection or herx. It passed though.

Thanks for your response!

I don't think reactions to vaccines are 1+1=2. In other words vaccines lower your immune system. It doesn't mean a negative vaccine reaction is getting the flu. It could mean you have reaction any reaction. Some reactions are worse then the flu, like the Washington Redskin's cheerleader hopeful who got estonia. Reactions are not a simple case of specific conditions. The vaccine can effect so many bodily functions, your putting poisons into your muscle, like, mercury, aluminum, squalene. You could look up any of these and the number of symptoms they can cause is as varied as lyme.

The sad part, you put a vaccine into your body and it is like a land mind. Just needs something to trigger a reaction. The land mind could go inert for decades. Or you could have a reaction within weeks of having a vaccine. If your immune system is compromised already, it is more likely sooner then later.

Tutu, I think it was not the H1N1 jab.

I read the Canadian article you mention and it was the other regular flu shot. People who were vaccinated with the seasonal flu shots would have more risk to die in case they get the H1N1 infection than non/vaccinated people.

About the H1N1 shot, it seems that the rate of people that get immunity after the H1N1 jabs vary depending on the brand of vaccine you are taking.

But immunity conferred is in any case, very low, about 50% at its maximum but mostly less, depending on group age. This is information from the vaccine makers themselves!!!

So it means that you get the mercury, the chicken embryo or monkey parts, formaldehyde, detergents, anti freeze injections plus some half dead viruses all present in the flu jabs and still can only get a MAXIMUM of 50% immunization that is short lived!!!!

The average seems to be close to 1 in 4 getting immunity to 3 in 4 NOT getting immunity after the vaccination!!

It seems that without a booster, the immunization effect will wean rather fast.

Many too many people in this forum report that after getting the regular flu shot, they fell sick and many never got back to their previous health before the jab.

I don't see any health benefit in taking these flu shots. Possibly, if the rate of immunity conferred was close to 100%, who knows. But being so low, and carrying so many unknown risks, I see no reason to take the jabs. No matter which. The risks are all written in the flu shot insert!

Vaccine makers write about the several side effects and risks, you just have to open the package and read.
