Hi, My 3 year old son was just put on Amoxicillin (400 mg/5 ml Oral Suspension). He weighs around 28-30 lbs. I was told to give him 1 tsp 2x/day. That sure seems like a lot to me. I have a call into my pediatrician and Lyme doc, but didn't want to give another dose until I hear if this is ballpark for Lyme. If anyone knows if this sounds around right, please email me back as soon as possible as I am afraid to give him his next dose (I have had so many pharmacies make BIG mistakes!) Thanks so much! Beth [email protected] p.s. He is also on Azithromycin (and just stopped Mepron after a year on it).

Sorry dear... I really am.
None of us can give you instructions on a dose for YOUR child. We can guess what your doctor might do, but that is NOT a good thing.
If you are unsure and don't trust the pharmacies, please wait and call the doctor.
