This may be a stupid question, but how do I take a powder probiotic? The directions only say to take 1/4 tsp daily. DO I eat the powder straight or do I mix it with something? Call me stupid!

My daughter took a powder one straight. It was HLC. She said it wasn't bad.
When I had to start taking them, I tried it and it wasn't bad, but it tasted kind of musty. I prefer the capsules.

OK, I just tried mixing it with cold water and it wouldn't dissolve... just kinda clumped together... made if very hard to drink. Hmmm... ?? Maybe I am supposed to just eat the powder straight? Maybe I'll try mixing it with the yogurt too..

A word of caution---a lot of water supplies are chlorinated. You may or may not be able to taste it. That could kill the good bacteria in the probiotic.
So if I were you, I'd use one of those Brita pitchers, or a Pur filter, or bottled water to mix the probiotic with.

I have good luck with mixing it with Ocean spray juice, it mixes pretty well and it takes away the nasty taste of the powder.

Buy a shaker bottle from store -- like supplement shop for protein drinks. You'll need one anyway along the road of your health. Simply put it in with some water, shake, drink 4 oz of water -- you're done."
Capsules are great if you can get them. VSL has capsules which are good.
