Hi Pam,

Sorry you are dealing with so so much. It is so difficult when our children are suffering. you have to separate out her challenges from yours right now. it is amazing what our children can grow through. she will do better as you do better. i remember how much you love your daughter. now it is time to love yourself.

do you have epsom salts? if so, can you take a bath and light some candles? nurture yourself and that hip and back of yours. Sea salt will work, too.

do you have paperwork from today or pill bottles? if you relax, your protocol will come back to you. i will be on lymenet mos of he night if you want to PM.

thank you

my body is so sick, i cant handle sound or movement or smells and i am so cold and very tired.

have not been able to handle a bathfor a long time. and the hip pain is so deep i think he said something about bone pain.

after reading what i wrote i think perhaps i should only add in the codieine tonight and leave the rest of the medication until i can understand.

yes i do have the bottles and i remember he talked about nerve pain and inflamation. i just can't believe that i have let everything get so out of control i feel so stupid and angry.

thanks so much for listening

Thinking of you and praying for you.
I know this can be terrible and is so over whelming. Can you call the pharmacy or is it already closed?

If you can not think clearly do not take the new meds until you can get it all figured out. It would be to dangerous if you got something mixed up.

I sure hope things turn around soon.
Thinking of you.

Sorry you are going through so much.

It is a good idea to only add one new med at a time.

If you have the epsom salts you could just put it in a bucket and soak your feet. That will still help even if you can't take a complete bath.

Naproxen is another name for Aleve which is a pain med.

Amitrytiline is an antidepressant.

Metronidazole is another name for Flagyl.

Take care of yourself first and then you will be able to help your daughter.

Sorry you're going through so much maps. I can only say that my personal experience with Flagyl was terrible - the GI issues and extreme weepiness.

If you're feeling fragile (and it seems that you are), be careful of any of those meds increasing anxiety or depression. I've never been on TCA's which might help to take the edge off.

Look after yourself. Hugs.

Your are right angrob75, that is exactly what i was scared of, so dumb of me to think i had to start everything today. i took half a tablet of codien and have just taken the immovain.

seibertneurolyme: You have jogged my memory i know flagyl he gave me that help kill the bacteria and i remember him something about antidepressant used at a very low dose would help aleviate some of the pain

see i remember antidepressant and flagyl but nothing about amitrytiline or metronidazale.

he also mentioned aleve and said he would give me the same thing that he takes for his backpain but none of the words he used matched the names on the bottles.

so there we go now it is all sorted out, maybe i am not as out of it as i thought (what a relief).

all i have to do is rename the bottles to aleve-antidepressant and flagyl and i am good to go:).

I just actually put a sticker on the bottles - naproxen=aleve etc as i won't remember tomorrow.

so i could have taken a naproxin instead of the codien but it is probably better to wait till morning to try it as many of the meds have a very stimulating effect and that would have been a disaster if i could not get some sleep.

Thank you all so much you have greatly lifted my spirits and i can move on from here.

Now my thoughts are running to the incredible thought that tomorrow i may be almost pain free and you will be right I will be much better able to help my daughter.

Thank you, thank you all so much.

regards

sending you my thoughts and prayers. everyone has givin you good advice.
i just wanted to add that DGL has been very helpful for my stomach. it doesn't change your ph but protects the mucosa in your gut. if you can do that before meals and or pills and maybe some yogurt or pro-biotics it may help esp when you start the meds. i take 5 viciodin a day not so nice on your tummy..DGL saved my tummy. be kind to yourself this disease can bring anyone to their knees. keep reaching out and take care

Once again thanks to all.

slept reasonably well kept my phone next to me in case my daughter needed to call. took only half a codien and then through the night another half it made the pain bearable but not gone.

But this morning the hip and leg pain is a lot less but i am back to the flank and spine pain so took Naproxen at 6 am but did not do much so an hour ago took a whole codien which still did not take away all the pain but it is certainly bearable. Trouble with a whole codien it makes me so dizzy.

Anyway tonight i will add the low dose anti depressant and see if that helps any.

I am going to do a seperate post to see if anyone else is going through the same neuro pains. I will also post on the general support an update on my daughter as it is probably inapropriate here.

You are all amazing I am not sure what I would have done last night without your help.

Regards
