I've been experiencing a pain in my neck that is not the stiff neck associated with Lyme and was wondering if anyone else gets the same or can suggest if this is worth bringing up with either my GP or LLMD?
On the front left side of my neck, about 1/2 way down (I guess about where I'd have an Adam's apple were I male), I have an off and on soreness.
It's tender to the touch, but I'm not sure if it is swollen. I've felt this for quite some time (years) off and on, but is more bothersome lately.
I don't consider it to be anything that bad since it's been around for so long, in a come and go fashion, without causing a major issue.
I know a lot of Lyme people have thyroid issues, but what I do not know is if thyroid problems ever cause this sort of pesky pain/tenderness?
Any thoughts or ideas are appreciated.
