I'm so sorry to hear that you are suffering. I have had problems in that area.. stones in the bile duct. Very painful stuff you're dealing with!
I hope you can get another dr besides that one!!

You know what's scarey to me is when you find doctors who know so little about tick-born disease and the current EPIDEMIC I can't help but wonder what else they know so little about. I really hope the fact that "Under Our Skin" has been nominated for an Oscar will bring public education of Lyme and other TBD to the forefront.
I hope you feel better soon. In the meantime, I hope they're giving you something for the pain.

I'm so sorry you have pancreatitis - it is not fun at all.
Ignore the ignorant doctor and take care of yourself while your pancreas heals.
Liquids only, and start back to solids very slowly... just like your docs will tell you...
I had pancreatitis last year... ouch.
Have you checked in with your LLMD? Maybe LLMD can talk to these docs who are making judgments about your treatment.
Feel better soon.

Very sorry to hear this. I just got out of the hospital with appendicitis and really expected to get some flack from the docs who weren't LL. I must have gotten lucky, because they said nothing. However, my PCP, who is Lyme "friendly" was horrible to me!
Please get well soon and come home. There's no way to change ignorance except education OR (better yet) EXPERIENCE! Remember: Everyone is going to get their turn. One way or another....

Did they give you a gallbladder cocktail? Did it help? It could be cytokines causeing clotting/ducts blocked. Benedryl may help.

I went to a doctor once for a sinus infection while I was being treated for lyme. She told me she didn't believe in chronic lyme disease.
I told her that I wasn't there for her to treat me for chronic lyme just the sinus infection. But I also told her that before I was really sick and with long term treatment I was better and just left it at that.
The cure for ignorance is education, but you can't make people learn.

They are running tests so i guess when they run out of reasons um wonder if they will believe its a lyme herx. Doubt it and i dont feel like getting into it with them either. They can sure make you feel stupid. But not feeling good i just might tell them you go get bit with tick get lyme and dont get treated for two years. Cant afford iv treatment justs pills and then tell me about lyme. Goofy docs
