Well, just started Rifampin instead of Cipro, and I am feeling real good! I really think Cipro was frying my brain, or so it felt. I've also changed over to daily oral Nystatin (not liquid) as weekly Diflucan wasn't keeping yeast under control. Also switched from Ceftin to plaquenil and relatively low dose of doxy. I have herxed like mad on doxy (especially neuropsych), to the point where I stopped taking it, so it's probably half of what most here take. I've seen some here that take a crazy amount of abx, and if I were on that much, I'd herx to the point where I'd throw myself off a cliff. I do what I can handle right now, and I think it's sufficient.
I injured my back today, and thankfully the benzos I am already taking seem to help it. Benzos do a lot more than I thought.
Other than my back, it's great to feel like my brain and body is functioning. Best I felt since starting abx, anxiety is lowest it's been, and I felt like someone just took 100 lbs of weight my chest. It's only been about 2-3 months or so of treatment (I lost track of time), and I'm hoping this is the sign of turning the corner. I'm not going to get ahead of myself just yet, but it's great to have your best day on Thanksgiving.
Happy Thanksgiving/Black Friday everyone, and I wish everyone here well!

Had a little rebound anxiety and back hurt more after forgetting to take my benzos.
However, I see forgetting to take the benzos as a positive sign. It's not a drug I forget to take when things aren't so good.
There is a little bit of family drama going on, but whatever. I'm a little moody myself, and I think it's partly because I have the energy to fight back. It seems that family tries to pick on me more when I am making progress rather than acknowledging I am making progress. Funny how that is.

I'm sorry you are going through that with your family. Don't get yourself too stressed out. If you have to ignore them for now, it might be best so that you can get better.
I hope things get better for you soon.
