My PCP has just prescribed Tramadol (sic) and I am also taking a ton of Neurontin. Are people able to function - go to work, hold their heads up off their pillows - taking these meds? I had actually been managing to get to work most days, before this last session of terrible pain (started about 5 days ago) and I am afraid I will not make it back...
any feedback appreciated
Pam

Sorry I am not on pain meds. But I am posting to bring this back up for others.

Hope your pain lessens soon!

It's up to your LLMD.. but have you considered backing off the abx for a day or two to break the pain cycle??

I hate pain!

If it wasn't for pain meds I know that the only

time I would get out of bed would be to eat and use

the restroom. But I experience a tremendous amount

of pain. They give me a life. I probably will add

Neurontin. I soak in the tub twice a day. Actually

I add sea salt to my bath and seems to help.
