I have an appt. tomorrow with a doctor who does not do IV. I am wondering if anyone has had any positive experience with it?

In 2001 to 2005 I was on im abx for 1 1/2 years and oral combinations and did get better and off abx. I relapsed a few months ago and will be seeing my LLMD on Monday and he only treats with im shots and orals. If you need iv he sends you to another doc.
Many people get better without iv, but some may need the iv. It depends on your symptoms and sometimes your ability to take oral meds.
I do believe that whether you do iv, orals or im shots that a combination of different abx need to be used to target the different form the lyme takes.

I am better, had Lyme for over 35 years, and did not use IV. It is possible. There are certain circumstances though that you many need IV. If you have cognitive symptoms that just don't clear up (mine did with bart treatment), then IV might be a good thing.

I am doing very well on IM bicillin and have a clear head (had really bad cognitive issues) after Bart treatment (Rifampin and Zithromax).
