Thanks much! I look forward to hearing more. They don't treat Lyme that I know of, but they focus on helping to get the brain working more effectively. Thanks!!

I kept "thinking" about this after I posted to you.... but can't remember much.. and....
I don't do this often myself, but I just looked up Amen Clinic in the search bar here because I know I've seen "stuff" on it. I clicked on doing a search for the Medical Section posts.
Quite a number of them came up actually. I am sorry I am too groggy to go through them all and am not sure which will help you the most anyhow... but if you get a mooment << like that new word?... maybe try a search here?

Scott, my daughter had her SPECT scan done at the Amen Clinic in Fairfield. But we didn't do any followup care with them--just got the results of the tests to take to our LLMD>

Scott, My comment isn't "on topic" but I know that if I post under a topic created by you that you are more likely to see my comment, so please pardon me for the following OT comment.
Your signature line states the following:
"Note: Due to the number of attempts in replying to PMs and finding full mailboxes, please contact me by email if you have private correspondence. Thanks"
However, your e-mail address isn't listed in your signature line and your PM function is turned off so there is no PM icon beside your name at the top of your posts. This appears to be an oversight on your part. I thought you'd like to be aware of it so that you could fix it.
Back to the subject at hand, I wouldn't have noticed the problem with your signature line except that I was curious about your topic on the Amen clinic, so that's why I clicked on this topic -- although I have nothing of value to contribute to your topic specifically. Sorry to disappoint you in that regard.
I was merely looking at this topic out of curiosity to see if I could learn anything about Amen's work since his books seem pretty popular, but I didn't want to spend money on one of his books until I could learn more about him and his work first.

Scott, can't seem to find your email and when I do I will respond. You send me things from time to time so will try to find time to go thru the files.
The Amen Clinic was a lifesaver for my daughter and I know of others that work for or go to her llmd that have received help there. A national llmd has helped to educate some of the staff at one of them.
My daughter went there and did NOT relapse from the Amen Clinic...She has relapsed because she is often non-compliant and also has mostly uncontrolled blood sugars. She has refused to take most of the supplements, and follow all of the Amen suggestions for improvement. Even hospitalization can rarely keep her blood sugars in good control levels.
I would be happy to help you. lmt
