i am constantly scratching my head. it feels like little bugs are crawling on it. i will sometimes get teeny white things but that's all.
it's the strangest sensation.
anybody have this? i've tried all the shampoos and the latest is a moisturizing avenoo shampoo which helps a little.
i know i don't have bugs, but geez, it sure feels like it.

You are not imagining this. Unfortunately I have read about people having this sensation many times here. They are parasitic worms. I have experienced this first hand and still am although it is getting better.
Using antiparasitics are KEY in getting rid of this disease as I have mentioned so often.
It talks about it on lymephotos and how they migrate to the scalp. I haven't tried this but Humaworm has a cream with tea tree oil and a bunch of other strong herbs for this problem.
I have no association with them, just thought I would mention it to see if it could help.

hmmm, would taking humaworm help? i'm not sure what a antiparasitic is exactly.
do you think i could take it with these gastro issues right now?
my scalp is pretty sensitive and most stuff burns it or it feels like it's burning.

Antiparasitics are against parasites. When you see the prefix anti in front of a word it means against. Like anti-biotics. So it would mean against parasites. The parasites are what's causing your gastro symptoms.
Look up the symptom list at humaworm and you will see. In other words your gastro track is so loaded with parasites that they have migrated to your head
Humaworm is very good, so is Dr. Natura and Hulda Clark. The most important herbs to take are Wormwood, Black Walnut hull and Cloves. Sixgoofykids is has said she got rid of roundworms with Enula.
PLEASE don't ignore this and research Lyme and Parasites on lymenet.

Worms? Yeah, perhaps. It might just be a bit of neurological inflammation. I have it. The little nerves are just getting a bit misfired. It cycles for me.

I dont think its worms. I have those t0o and it is likely paresthesias (caused by peripheral nerve damage) . I also have numbness and tingling in my hands and feet .Do you have anything similar?

I had this badly when I first started treatment for lyme disease. It would come and go and I would get one or two very sore lumps under my scalp with a flare up.
It subsided greatly in the first year of treatment. I didn't take any anti-parasitics for the first year so I'm pretty sure it was related to something other than a parasitic infection for me.
It felt like a neuropathy to me but the lumps made me think otherwise. I also had skin crawling (felt like bugs crawling all over my skin) very badly and that subsided almost completely during the first year of treatment. I attributed the skin crawling to neuropathy because I had other symptoms of neuropathy that got better too such as burning and tingling in my hands and feet.
There may be several different things that can cause the crawling sensation on the scalp.

I have had this same exact symptom. Feels just like little bugs, but nothing is there. I can feel it on my head, hands, legs, etc.
It comes and goes, so I don't think it is worms. It has gotten better with treatment, so I think for me it is a neuro symptom from LD.
Seek, if your liver is messed up it can cause you to itch.

Well, I had the symptoms you describe at first, but when I started taking a lot of antiparasitic herbs and then added salt/c, the lumps started to push through my scalp and open.
That's when the parasites started to appear. I know other people that have experienced the same thing that used to post here.
I have read here that some people that have this co-infection have calmed it down and done well by using doxy and ivermectin.
The problem is that it doesn't kill the adults and that's why some people relapse. There is not a doubt in my mind that parasites/worms play a major role in this disease.
If your not getting well, I would seriously consider that not treating this could be the reason. BTW, I am for whatever works and that people get well from this horrific disease,

For me this is typicla Lyme symptoms. I get it during herxes or flares.

Your killing all bacteria . I had that on & off for quite a while. And then I would get certain abxs that caused pimples good penitration by some abx's.

i've started the humaworm and took the first dose last ight.
well we'll see what it does.

For me, a really hot shower in the morning gets rid of the sensations for awhile. I have to shower every morning or I can barely function. I also have these sensations elsewhere in my body, but in recent years, it is much worse on my scalp.

You shouldn't keep any meds in the bathroom because of moisture. Good idea to refigerate herbs also to keep them fresh. Good Luck with the Humaworm....Keep us posted,

Im wondering if it has to do with yeast in your system . I was having trouble with pancreatitis didnt know it at first. I kept having itching in back of my head scalp area. I thought it was allergy to my shampoo but it kept doing it. After lyme treatment doc put me on Nysistan(not sure how to spell) for yeast and it went away. So i dont know just my experience.
