Be nice to know who her holistic doctor is and what protocol he/she used to treat her.

I hope did cure her I wouldnt count on that alone. From what I read she was treated first by a ID doc who followed the IDSA recommended protochol which is not very long.

That's fairly scary. If she only did 1 course of antibiotics she will be suffering in the long run. I wish someone had told me to do antibiotics early in instead of trying all the alternative things I did first. A mistake.

You've got to knock the infection on the head early.

I would say either she didn't have Lyme or she got to it very quickly after she was bitten.

I'm very skeptical. Just my opinion.

There is one guy out there that says he was cured with all natural products because nothing else worked. Then mentions that he happened to be on 4 years of antibiotics prior to that. I'm thinking the abx put a dent in his Lyme.

Early in my odyssey, before I got the correct (Lyme) diagnosis, I was treated with things (Sporanox, Diflucan) which, it turns out, do kill Lyme, even though that's not what we were going for. I had some remissions of 4 or 6 months. I thought I was cured! Until it came back. Parker Posey is wonderful, she was priceless in "The O in Ohio" - a real chick flick. I hope she's not claiming cure too soon... Good luck Parker!
