I am starting to really focus on diet and will be having a protein shake every morning. I always get confused when trying to find the best brand. Any suggestions?
Thanks

I am allergic to dairy (whey), gluten, etc., so the only two protein powders I've found that I tolerate are hemp protein and rice protein.
I usually go with Vegan Rice Protein Powder because it's almost completely protein with almost no carbs or fat, and it has a pretty benign taste.
The Hemp Protein Powder has a stronger taste and has slightly more carbs in it, so it depends on your goals.
If I could stomach the Hemp without anything else but water mixed in, it would be the perfectly balanced 40-30-30 snack (if you follow that diet), but it really needs something else in it.
I don't remember the brand names for either, but you can buy them both at Whole Foods, and the hemp kind is available at most healthfood stores and coops. I think it is organic. The rice kind is not organic, which is its only drawback, IMO.

My husband LOVES Vega Smoothie Infusion. It's vegan, raw, and organic. Contains no corn, dairy, gluten, soy, wheat, or yeast. Also contains no sweeteners (no sugar, stevia, etc).
Some of their other protein powders contain stevia, if you like that. (My husband doesn't.)
You can find it at places like Whole Foods, but we order from iHerb because it's cheaper there.

I like Biochem whey in vanilla, all the other flavors are gross ... tried them all. Chocolate is good, but best if mixed 50/50 with vanilla.
Jay Robb is fine, too. Also vanilla.
Both are undenatured. You don't want a denatured whey protein.

Oh I use a Rice Protien that I get from Whole Foods.. I have found it to be very good because it is basic and clean and is not filled with a bunch of flavors etc...
I would have to go look up the brand though but it has been the best one I have found that is readily availabe without ordering on line etc.
