Hi, wondering if a few of you can tell me what you LLMD started your young child on in the beginning and what ot expect?

My eight year old daughter has her first appt. tomorrow and suffers from headaches, nausea and joint pain as her main symptoms. I'm praying these little ones don't experience the herx reaction as horrible as us adults do.

Thanks everyone.

Penny

My own kids haven't herxed nearly as bad as I have. They have experienced an increase in fatigue, aches and pains, and irritability.

But, they have not become sick to the point of exhaustion, and they have been able to keep going to school. I believe my younger kids started on amoxicillan and my older son started on doxycycline.

Hope your daughter's appointment goes well! Julie

My son is on amoxicillin. He's on his 3rd week of it now. He has experienced a lot of nausea, but the probiotics have helped a great deal. He went through rash, itching, irritability, fatigue, eye pain and headaches. That all started after about 5 days of antibiotics. He had also ran a fever for about 4 hours or so two times about a week apart. Once that last fever went away, we saw dramatic improvement.

Dr. J and Dr. H started my Granddaughter on Zithromax and Amoxy and added Alinia and Oh, I can not remember....white liquid.

Sorry, I can't remember the other one, maybe someone with kids will come along and help me out here.
