Is that too much? I'm either herxing or reacting badly. Primary symptoms are facial and head tingling which is going nuts right now. Plus some ear ringing. Plus anixety has crept in.
Just started taking doxy around a week ago.
Also just upped my low dose naltrexone from 2 mgs to 3 mgs.
What do you think?

200 mg of Doxy twice daily is the dosage commonly used by LLMD's, so that sounds good to me.
It's probably a herx.

I think 400 mg daily is common doxy dosage for Lyme. I'm currently taking 400 mg, once in the morning. My husband breakes his doxy into 200 mg in the AM and 200 mg in the PM.
However, it took me some time to adjust to the doxy. It was rough going in the beginning. Actually, it's still the roughest medication I take. Definitely my least favorite!

Maybe you just don't tolerate it well. It does cause some nausea from time to time, but I didnt notice anything else. And I experimented with up to 1000 mg /day (briefly though)

Dr. B, in his treatment protocol, recommends taking 300-600mg doxy a day divided into two doses. I took 200mg twice a day. It knocked me out for a month but then I was much much better. I think it is a great drug.

Id look into the LDN dose.
Too much can cause issues, do some searches on here.
Some dr.s are actually recommending dosing every other day now and most are not crossing the 2mg daily mark.
just a thought.
I doubt its causing all the issues you have listed, but it could be. Mainly the anxiety is what comes to mind, although that can also very well be bart/lyme also.
Best

Does anyone know if 200mg doxy daily is enough to cause herxing?
