Texas: 22.490.022 inhabitants, 696.241 km
Ukraine: 45.700.395 inhabitants, 603.700 km

Deaths have passed the 500 mark. Quite alarming when you consider It is smaller than Texas.

Good Gosh.

Is this still going on? Why isn't it happening here?

Apart from the obvious: infected vaccine, etc.

Thanks for the update.

We'll probably never know what is going on there.

Don't forget that eyewitness accounts by perhaps thousands of western Ukranians who saw light aircraft spraying something over major cities on October 29th. Within hours, people began to get ill. That was the beginning of the spike of ``Ukraine Plague'' illnesses.

Along those lines, there is a lethal synergistic action of the swine flu virus combined with the presence of Hemophilus Influenzae Suis (bacteria) (HIS), which pigs have in their lungs in early fall and winter, and which is normally quite harmless. The combined microbes caused destruction of chicken lungs - they became black like coal and bloody.

Sorry to feel the need to post here.
I would highly recommend anyone who is in the known risk categories use a mask.
This is very alarming to me and obsess the need for the dissemination of information.
China is reporting at least 14% of their deaths are pregnant women.

http://en.rian.ru/exsoviet/20100105/157469940.html
The death toll from the flu outbreak in Ukraine has risen to 805, a spokesman for the country's Health Ministry said on Tuesday.

At least 38 people died from complications related to the seasonal flu in the last 24 hours

The outbreak has affected over 3.8 million people in the country so far, the source said.

Over 222,000 people have been hospitalized since the outbreak started in October 2009. The country has also reported 254 patients currently in intensive care with severe flu and flu-like symptoms.

A total of 2,926 people were taken to hospital in the past 24 hours.

The Ukrainian parliament has allocated 1 billion hryvnias ($125 million) for measures to fight swine and seasonal flu.

However, the spread of epidemic has been on the rise again since late December due to cold weather spells sweeping through the country.

KIEV, January 5 (RIA Novosti)

All we can do is pray for them.

Thanks, Pinelady. There are links to other articles on that same page, and they all have somewhat confusing death tolls.
