Hi there,

I am just wondering how reliable a positive PCR test for Babesia is from Clongen Labs.

I had a positive test. Is it reliable?

Thanks....

Yeah Man.........Lucky you!

I don't mean it in a negative way. I wish we would be able to know the hair of the dog that's biting us.

PCR shows the parasite, not antibody. Most accurate test.

I believe Clongen is a reasonable lab.

Anyone else?

Meaning I was questioning my Lyme and Co's diagnosis. Not that I feel good about being sick!

Mine was a +FSH for Babs through Igenex. Is that a

similar thing. LLMD said that a +Babs FSH is a

definite for infection as they visualise it under

the microscope. Same thing i guess.

I tested +ve for Babs last year, then this year

after only 3-4mths treatment, i tested -ve. But

still have issues that seem like babs,

particularly night sweats.
