My son is battling a nasty systemic fungal infection, and metals are being released. He gets waves of intense burning in places that are not fun- brain, neck, spine etc.
Does microsilica just bind to floating metals, or pull out more deeply the toxins that are stored?
Just wondering if this is an appropriate, gentle treatment for people who are very fragile and sick.
Zeolite was way too harsh - trying hard to find things that won't overwhelm his system.
Thanks!

My understanding is that microsilica grabs the metals that are in the gut.
My first experience with it was not what I would call gentle but I had a lot of metals stored in that are so it would make sense.
I have an easier time with it now.
I know others are taking microsilica so hopefully they will chime in.

I take it. Haven't really noticed anything different from chlorella really.

Burning sensations are often caused by Babesia. The feeling can be horrible. Metal detox frees some of the hidden invaders. Practitioners who do good ART testing can verify what is happening and the guessing game is a thing of the past. I learned to tensor and that helped us immensely. I would be lost trying to find out what is causing what.
I do not think microsilica causes burning. Babesia can -- for some people.
Possibly you can find someone besides lab testing.
I know you will find help for your son. Good luck.
Take care.

Can anyone give me some guidance on how to time taking microsilica so that it will not bind "the good stuff"? I'm not clear on whether it selectively binds the metals, or whether there is potential for it to also bind medications/herbs/etc. I know it must be taken away from minerals.
Thanks for any guidance!

We take all minerals, including KPU in the morning. Later in the eve, away from food, we take the microsilica. Before going to bed we take the detox meds to be ready for the detox hours between 11 PM and 3 AM, approx.
If people don't sleep well because of the detoxing taking place in the middle of the night, some people reverse it. Detox agents, herbals, in AM and minerals at night.
Take care.

GiGi, thank you for the framework for taking minerals, binders and detox agents. It helps a lot. I know that my husband needs detox during the night; LLMD has said that being "supine" for so many hours makes toxins build up, and when my husband is feeling toxic, the mornings are the worst.
I hope I'm not hijacking the thread with a follow-up question. If he is trying to fit in 2 doses of Nanotek Chitosan and 3 doses of Microsilica in a day, what would be the best spacing/sequence? Or is this an impossible task?
Thanks again for any help!
