Why would a herx effect my joints . With in a hour of taking meds i cant hardly move all large joints ache. Doc gave me meds and all i have done is sleep. I hope it regulates soon.

I have lyme arthritis and experience the same pain.

On 2 inj. of IM Clafaron a day and joints are so painful I have to take 2 Oxymorphone's a day just to be comfortable.

Got Synvisc in both knees 2 weeks ago and it did nothing so I sleep with the heating pad wrapped around my knees at night.

I drink lemon water which helps a little. The LLMD said take Advil (brand name only) for the swelling that I wake up with each day.

My magnesium is normal. I was taking advil which worked fine but when my pancreatitis hit it showed my kidneys was damaged . Which is fine now but i read that the advil can damage kidneys. So doc gave me something else. Which is a little strong i think. Im gonna try it for a few days but if i keep sleeping like this then im gonna have to go to a lower dose. But i agree joint pain is horrable to point i cannot walk i feel like tin woman walk like her to.
