Hi, while I await my appointment with Dr. P now 3 months back I am reading a lot about the intravenous use of salt and vitamin c .

There is an Ebook "How To Do The Oral Salt & Vitamin C Protocol
For Lyme Infection" .

There is also lots of testimony about IV salt therapies.

Any one tried this approach and if so please post to us.

Thanks
Joe

Joe,

I never heard of the salt/c protocol being given IV. I do it and have been doing it for over 3 yrs and I do it orally.

Where did you see info about IV salt therapy? Are you referring to the e-book from lymestrategies? That is definitely an oral protocol.

Joe,

You can pm me (private message) by going to the middle icon at the top of your message.

I am really interested in the info about the IV salt therapy. Maybe it's IV saline?

P. S.

My name is Gael not Arthur.

Hi again , I have a few links to follow.

These may not show the information I told of being IV related.

I am having a hard time finding ti.

http://www.ong-fides.org/pbpja/xea/zc.php?salt-vitamin-c-protocol-lyme

http://www.communicationagents.com/chris/2005/09/22/lyme_disease_wiped_out_by_vitamin_c.htm

http://www.revolutionhealth.com/drugs-treatments/rating/salt-c-protocol

This is the recipe they use. I would be interested in what you use

We use 1-gram Sodium Chloride USP tablets made by the Consolidated Midland Corporation (CMC).

We order these through our local pharmacy.

They are not a prescription drug, but not having widespread use are rarely a stock item and need to be special-ordered.

The CMC salt pills have an NDC # of 0223-1760-01, which should help your pharmacist locate the exact type.

The cost is about $10 US for a bottle of 100 tablets. We usually order a dozen bottles at a time to make it worth the pharmacy's effort.

Given the costs of other treatments and the long-term debilitating nature of lyme disease, we think this cost is acceptable.

I think you may be referring to IV Vitamin C which is used by some alternative practioners. The sea salt is KEY because it puts the parasites into osmotic shock.

The salt/c protocol is different in that it is taken orally. I use Real Salt (sea salt) and Ester C powder with bioflavinoids.

I would appreciate it if you do a search on here by typing salt/c protocol or sea salt and vitamin c into the search bar.

You should find extensive info that I have posted on dosing etc. on this as I have given it many times over. If you can't find something let me know.
