I'm very ill and seems to getting totally unbearable. I'm not fully confident in my dr here. I've recently just started Artesunate and I feel like I'm dying. I'm on this along with Amox, Zith, and flagyl. The last 4 days have been horrible. I'm sure it's a herx, cause I've dramatically gotten worse since adding my new med.
I can't get in touch with my dr either... I've talked to my family in the states and they agree.. enough is enough.. I need a good dr to test for everything and who is totally confident in treating this horrific disease. I think a big part of the healing process and cure of this is the treating Physician. Without a knowledgeable dr it just won't happen.
With that said, I'm COMIN home!! I'm ready to get my life back and I'm not stopping till I DO!
Any suggestions or advice on dr's are needed.
Thank you ALL for being such a great support. Seriously I don't know where I'd be if it wasn't for everyones caring advice.

Don't have any advice or suggestions about doctors. I think you already know about Dr. W in Texas but I think you should see someone who has more experience treating this disease.
Are you still going to Colorado where your family is? Hasn't anyone given you names of LLMD doctors in Colorado? I would think that you would have gotten a name or two by now.
Praying that everything work out well for you kareamber.

Gary, Thank you for your comment. Yes, I'm coming home to Colorado. Ideally I'd like to be treated close to home, but am def wiling to travel to see the best. I haven't heard of Dr. W? Some wonderful folks here have sent me some names of treating dr.s in Colorado. I will give them a call and see what they can do for me.
Again, I appreciate EVERYONE here. You all are special people.

kareamber - Although I'll be away from Lymenet for a bit after tomorrow, I want to say, "Welcome Home". Sounds like you're determined and are formulating a plan; the first steps in successful treatment of these illnesses.
With the help of posters here, you'll no doubt find a good LLMD. Many well wishes from me sent your way.
Happy New Year!
