where my right bi cep used to be before all this crap, there is now a depression.

if i turn my forearm to the right and flex like doing a curl i have an egg shaped lump that i can grab with my left hand and move around.
it is firm to the touch but this is not present on my left arm.

also when i really flex hard there is some pain there...moderate but it feels and looks weird.

any ideas????????

Hi <<<<< Johnny' >>>>>,

Not sure about the depression/dent,but teh egg shaped lump, that can be moved a bit, might be a Lypoma [sp.?].

My husband has several,on his back and arms...they can be painful, most are fatty tissue w/ liquid in them.

I'm not are Dr. tho',but it sounds like it might be Lypoma,or a muscle knot...both could cause some pain.

I had a small tear in a muscle in my upper leg years back, and it left a lump w/ a dent just below it... perhaps have it checked if you can get to a LL Dr.

There will be others along, that might have more ideas on what the problem is,and what could be done to ease it.

I hope this helps tho'...and if I get the odd bump area, and don't recall an injury,I often use a rice buddy [an old sock filled w/ dry uncooked rice grains heated in the Microwave for about 2 minutes, holds heat about 30 min.].

If your lump is a lypoma that prolly wont help. I hope it eases and stops swelling/lumping soon.
