2roads,

Nicole Denise uses this. I was just talking to her about it on chat last night.

If you edit your subject line to include Biocidin, she might see it.

Thanks Carol.

But, I do hope it's just more then one person on this board, because we are putting big eggs in this basket.

Oh, sorry. I read this after I sent my PM, so I'll just add this here. Although all the people my naturopath sees take this, they are all in Canada, and I don't think any of them are on this board.

I don't think I found anyone on this board who uses it. But my natuorpath is the only Lyme-literate person in Western Canada, and she trained with some of the best LLMD's from the states. It makes me curious who your LLMD/doctor is- maybe they know my old naturopath.

Up to those questions.

What TBD are you most treating it for?

Has it really helped.

We are on this and Artemisinin. No antibiotics or Mepron. We are pulsing the Art. I worry about developing immunity to the Art on this protocol, and that these alone without prescription meds will do nothing. [shake]

My naturopath uses it to treat Lyme (since she can't prescribe antibiotics). I now use it with antibiotics, mostly for yeast (I see an LLMD). My naturopath says she has had lots of success with it. In her words, it is slower than antibiotics, but she's seen people have lots of progress.

However, she also encouraged me to get on antibiotics if I could convince my GP, because she believes they are more effective and faster. So, I think being on it would be helpful, and if you can't get on antibiotics it's a reasonable alternative. But I would be tempted to see if you could get your son on antibiotics.

Great....

Basically, I guess I'm getting the runaround.

Atleast I know, and will stop waisting mine and every body elses time.

Thanks Nicole,

I did not mean anyone here...I meant the doctors time.

How disappointing and upsetting.

Both of my grown children are seeing one of the better LLMDs in PA and they were recently started on the Biocidin. They are both fully functional and hold down rather demanding jobs. They have been on and off abx as needed or requested.
They were told to start slowly with it and build up. Don't know their dosages but can find out. However, they each had new bloodwork done at Fry, Igenex, before their protocol changed so don't know the exact factors for adding this in. Too early to report how it works.
Sorry I can't be more help to you.
