Hi, I am having all kinds of new problems lately and now my eye lids wont stay closed when I try to sleep. Yes I said it.... How the hell can you sleep if your eyes won't close! I have not found that one on here.

This is coat-tailing on other new symptoms that arose recently. I am only taking herbals and nystatin. No Abx. I thought maybe the nystatin was causing me to herx somehow? I took it for like 3 months with no problem and then for like 3 weeks I have felt bad. when I stopped last thursday it has seemed to help, but not all the way.

For like 2 weeks I had tingly foot, sound sensitivety, weak as Ive ever been, floaty feeling, electric shock in my brain, heart pain, head pressure, extremeties falling asleep, facial

tightness, nausiated, make way more typing errors, constant muscle spasms or twitching in my calves and feet for at least 2 months, my tremmors are worse.

And now this eye stuff. This is all new. This is not my usual laundry list of crap.
i only did abx a short while and never really experienced a herx so is this it? Is there any way to really know anything?

I have had Lyme for at least 20 years but just found out in 07. I have not really done a hardcore abx treatment because flagyl made my liver hurt and they pulled me off it. i tried cowden for 6 months and nothing. I lost like 12 lbs from doing a strict lyme friendly diet with it.

I orderred humaworm after reading so many posts about it here. My LD has had me on herbals since august and I am sort of in limbo until we get back new ignx tests. He wanted to see if anything has changed.

He said he does not mind me doing humaworm but wants me to stay on the herbs. BUT Humaworm people told me to be off all herbs a week first. I WANT TO SCREAM. I have read so many of your posts and only get more confused. [bonk]
I am sure they will want me to do more aggressive abx next. I have been scared it would make me feel so sick I cant work, and then how will I pay for this?

Anyway i guess my main question in a long-assed round about way of asking is, has anyone experienced this eye stuff? I am as scared as I have ever been. Any and all wisdom is welcome because i have ignored this for way to long and need to make the right choices quick. I want to become an active contributor to this forum instead of a passive reader.
Thanks for reading

I had the same experience. It's hard to believe it unless it happens to you. I had (have) all sorts of eye problems from the lyme and bartonella.

Rifampin and biaxin have helped me a lot. I have stayed on them for almost a year.

Thanks Joe, I would be curious to know your other symptoms. Do you have facial stuff? My cheeks, lips toungue and now my eyes feel funny. This is in addition to the old problems which seem to be getting worse.

Also did you have this before you started any treatment or did it come on after you started?
