I apparently am not doing nearly as good as I thought....a few weeks ago I thought I was on the road to recovery. I'm having a horrible night...heart is racing, dizzy, nerve pain, etc. I even felt like I was going to pass out. I have not felt like this in months!

I don't know if this could be a herx or what, but please say a prayer for me. Its scary when you feel this bad.

Maybe I should cut back on meds for a bit? I'm on doxy, rifampin, and pulsing flagyl. My dr told me (last week) to stop doxy and start cowden, but I haven't gotten the cowden herbs yet.

Thanks!

Hang in there Texas girl... and if you get any worse call the doctor. That is what they are for. OR.. go to the ER if you need to... ok?

If your gut is saying to cut back on meds and your doc approves.. it might help.

When I get scared I try to distract my mind. Usually a good movie or TV show helps. I hope you can find some relief.

Let us know how you are doing... ok? I don't want to have to waltz across Texas trying to find you.. ya hear?

Hi Sweetie. Prayers up for you. I've been where you are. As an aside, Flagyl freaks my brain out. My dr. pulled me off it after about three days.

God bless you. He's there. Hold on to Him.

Hang in there, treatment is a roller coaster! But it sounds like you are getting better, it is probably a temporary setback. Sounds like a herx.

Rifampin is usually used with azithromycin, perhaps when you stop doxy you can ask your doctor about that?

Hope you feel better soon.

Thanks so much everyone for your prayers!

I am feeling absolutely horrible. I think I feel as bad as when I first started treatment 5 months ago!

I'm so scared!

Its hard to tell if this is a herx or a set back!

Prayers for you, txgirl09.

I'm going through the same thing right now--been feeling horrible since our vacation.

I haven't felt this bad since before being dx'ed.

Don't know what it is either, but I'm ready for it to be over.
