It didn't cause me to herx. Just seemed to keep me stable.

Before I knew what was wrong with me but found by accident that I felt better after a round of antibiotic for what they thought might be a bladder infection. The doctors (2 different one - I changed hoping to find help!) tried to pooh-pooh that abx were the answer since I had NOTHING wrong with me. I had to DEMAND abx - I told them I wasn't going to die because of not having them... My sister mailed me grapefruit seed extract to take inbetween the times when I need anx. I took it for about a week or so but had white tongue quickly.... I'm thinking you'd need nystatin & NO sugar to take it!

I've been taking one capsule of GFSE daily for the past 6 months. I don't know if it's helping the Lyme much (im on 3 abx as well). What i do believe its doing is keeping my Herpes Simp I and Epstein Barr at bay.
I think its a great supp if you can tolerate it. No problems with yeast. In fact, i read somewhere that GFSE is very powerful *against* yeast.
No herxing off GFSE but i herx really bad after taking Artemisinin.

I've been taking it for a couple of weeks (pills, not drops) and haven't really noticed any difference. I'm sure the drops are stronger?

I've been taking the drops, or the pills, for at least 2 or 3 years; the drops---- 15 drops 3x/day in tomato juice. The pills----- 1 pill, 3x/day with food.
I have no reaction that i can attribute to GSE. Nothing works against my candida-in-the-gut either ( except now rifeing works).
I take it because i hope it's responsible for keeping me mostly well, along with other herbs & supplements, but i have no reactions that i notice.

I've been doing some research on GFSE and have found it to be somewhat confusion regarding the benefits of it.
