Hey gang,

i posted aabout ten days ago and got some good advice on my ongoing headaches. Pretty much i think it is yeasy related. So started treating on my own....for a week. No improvement..but i never changed my diet...so i am on my third day of sugar elimination and i think i am on to something but too early to say.

i was curious how many of you are handling this and what i can expect ? i'm most curious if i should be feeling so damn weak ....i seem to remember the same thing the first few days of south beach diet.

i should also say i did the spit test and i failed...so now i am begining to think its not just the headaches but the increased brain fog and shakiness in the past 2 weeks that are all yeast related. it also sem my LLMD is not that well versed on this which is shocking...

any advive is helpful,

Dave

Stick with the no sugar diet and that includes ALL sweet things--even fruit! Cut out carbs and gluten too.

Maybe you can get a prescription for Fluconozole or Nystatin from your doc.

I myself just started a supplement called Candida Cleanse by Now (brand vitamins).

For external body parts, try Clotrimazole 1% antifungal cream.

There's a book called The Yeast Connection, by Crook I think, which might help.

Drink lots of water.

hope that helps.

Candex is good; it's enzymes that dissolve the yeast.

I've read, i think, that you have to rotate your treatments frequently, like every 4 days?

Nothing worked for me long -term, so i gave up and am now trying a rife machine for Candida yeast.

I have a GB-4000; i've zapped half a dozen times for Candida , and it DOES WORK. It stops the gurgling in my guts for a day or two. After that the symptoms return.

So far it seems that i'll have to zap on candida frequencies every day or every other day, to keep the symptoms under control.

pam,

are you following a yeast free diet as well? curious how you felt when you started that? i feel hypogycemic today...i think that is expected.

i also picked up candida cleanse from rainbow light.

YOU MUST FOLLOW THE DIET OR YOU WILL NEVER GET RID OF THE YEAST!!!!

You feel weak, etc because you are eliminating sugar. Sugar gives you a "high".

The feeling will pass.

Brain fog and shakiness can definitely be caused by yeast.

See p.34 for Dr Burrascano's method for clearing yeast in the mouth.

Yep. Listen to Lymetoo Dave.

I'm in the same situation. Every time I get off the diet get those yeast symptoms ie sinusy headache (fungus!)itchy ears, scalp, fogginess.

You are gonna feel weak and bad coming off the sugar but eventually those feelings will lift if it's truely yeast.

Increase your protein and good fats.

Follow the diet...but try oil pulling in the morning. Many have great results eliminating candida/bacteria viruses...while adding this therapy while on the diet.

Sunflower or Sesame oil...organic...one to two tbsp swished in the mouth and through the teeth...for 15-30 minutes each am. Spit it out in toilet and do not swallow, extremely toxic...

You do not want to re-ingest this...so do not swallow!

do this for a month take notes on your symptoms and report back! You may get some herx at first, but all I Know who do this report great success, especially with lifting brain fog while going after the candida.

Just re-read the Dr. B's Guidelines...been doing the mouth rinse 2x a day since treatment...not having any digestive issues unless you count lots of gas when eating fiber...but i was like that before treatment. i don't see any visual signs of thrush but as i said i failed the spit test...os no way to find anything out other than to do the diet.

Dave, I relate alot to what you're experiencing (though I don't know what the spit test is and I'm too lazy right now to look it up.) I just came off mega IV about a week ago and after a few days - sx restarted/increased - shakiness/ tremor, frequent headache, major brain fog, ear pressure, a little vertigo and nausea, neck and shoulders killing me. Noticed a little yeast itchiness (female kind) so started Nystatin and oil of oregano and cut out pasta and bread. I took a 2 day break from Nystatin and oregano and sx weren't as bad - these 2 significantly increase the above sx for me. Now I've restarted Nystatin and oregano and boy this is not a good day. Yeast die-off? Lyme rebound? Yeast and Lyme?... beats me.

I also did about 25 min. of aerobic exercise a few days ago, it felt great, and the next day - whoa, herx (flare?) of fatigue, burning joints, whole body hurt, headache etc. I know the precautions about strenuous exercise, but I have been accustomed to it, though stopped during IV. In the past year or two, when on orals not IV, I often did 1 hour aerobic sessions and felt great, and then typically herxed for 2 days after and then felt good.

Guess what I'm trying to say is, I always seem to have so many variables in play at once that I can't tell what is causing what and whether its positive or not. Drives me nuts. It's such a guessing game. Oh well, onward I plod... onward and upward!
