Radha, sorry you are having so many optic problems and your pressures are up.

I wish I could offer you more help than what I am about to say, but I am in the 'eye' business and I can't stress enough your need to get to a qualified optometrist or ophthalmologist for care. Lyme can mess up your eyes in so many ways and you DON'T want permanent damage done. You only have two eyes that have to last you a life time.

If you can't get to a ophthalmologist, PLEASE try to see an optometrist to get your pressures checked and routine testing done. Insist that you have a dilated exam and he or she thoroughly checks your retinas and optic nerves.

Good luck. I wish I could tell you that I know alternative treatments, but I don't. I use drops myself and have messed up optic nerves so I share your fears and concerns. You may need a procedure called an SLT if you are not responding to drops, but only a trained professional can judge that.

Take care.
