So I have Lyme, Bartonella, and Babesia

My husband has Lyme, Erlichia, and Bartonella

We have had 3 of our 4 children tested (the littlest is still asymptomatic) and they all tested positive for Lyme and Bartonella. Two of the three also have Babesia.

I know Lyme can be passed across the placenta. We have wondered if I have had this longer than we originally thought and if maybe I passed it on the the boys.

But then I started wondering if you can pass along the co-infections too? Anyone have any literature on this?

Thanks,Aimee

I know my three girls probably have Lyme and Babs from me. Its so sad. Sorry your family is struggling with it also. Are your boys in treatment?

Thanks for the PM - here is a link that confirms congenital Babesia.

I was kind of holding out hope that maybe I didn't actually give this to my kids but it's looking more and more like I did.

I'm pretty sure I passed Bart to at last two of my kids, who are now adults.
