I'm into my 3rd week of 400mg doxy/day and still have waves of chills pouring over my body. Days 5 to 9 were worse (I guess that Herx Reaction) but they still continue. Is that common?
Also, my fatigue is FAR greater than before starting doxy.
My full lab results aren't in yet so the MD said just to just stay the course until we know what we're dealing with.
Any thoughts? Thanks.

Babs?
Sounds like a definite herx though (so that's good)
days 5-12 are usually worse times for me too

Hi, I am new too this & waiting for test reults too. I have been on 100 doxy & 500 mg flagyl with samento. I too get the cold chills, but we had major cold here in FL that we just are not used too. I have also been weaning off my premarin, maybe instead of hot flashes i am having cold chills. I get alot of other weird feelings like electrical pulses through my body. Good luck & God bless us and this disease. I used too live on LI a long time ago. You will get alot of info from this site.

Chills are also common with Erlichia and Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever. Both are treated by doxy.
