Has anyone taken Acetyl-L-Carnitine/SAM-e for "brain fog" and seen improvement in their mental state?

If so at what dosage and how long did it take to see results?

I take 600mg Alpha Lipoic Acid and 1200 mg Acetyl L Carnitine.
ALCAR helps with energy and converting fat into muscle as well as memory and brain fog. I am taking Rifampin which can cause mental confusion and fogginess. I am a little better but still pretty dense. I am also taking the herb huperzine for my mind. Both Alcar and huperzine have been given to people with demenia so I hope it helps. I have been taking these for a few weeks, not long enough to know yet if it works.

I didn't feel much of a difference from Acetyl L Carnitine or SAMe.

Everyone is different, though.
