Earlier today, richedie posted about his loss of hope after being on abx for so long. I sent him a PM telling him about non-abx protocol a friend has been trying with surprising results. He asked if I would share it on the forum. Perhaps someone has had experience with it?

This friend & I often email back and forth to discuss treatments, things we've read about and also for support. He's been suffering with Lyme for a decade now and has only recently learned that Lyme has been the culprit all along. His hope was to avoid abx. After much research, he decided to try this treatment plan called "Advanced Cell Training". His son had knows someone who had completed it years ago and now trains for strongwoman competitions. She told my friend she's had no symptoms since.

After three weeks, he started having doubts but by the fourth week, surprisingly, he began having improvement. The email I received from him the other day said some of his symptoms are 75% better! It's been nine weeks.

Apparently, each week there is an online classes that provides discussion, then codec, then listening to a CD a couple of times. Supposedly, your brain deciphers the codes and changes it's behavior to help the body kill the pathogens in your body. Sounds wacky and neither one of us really understand quite how it works. He said the cost is $125 sign up and $55 per class (once a week).

I do want to say that I have absolutely no affiliation with this company, nor is this any kind of endorsement. As some of you know, my current treatment is IV abx and recently there have been some problems I've experienced. After my friend's email the other day, it seems more intriguing.

Back when he was first looking into it, I asked on the forum but there was no response at the time. Perhaps there is someone now who missed that post then?

Very interested in feedback regarding this. Here's the website:

This IRT thing was posted here 1+ year ago. Many started doing it, but I don't believe it helped anyone. Tracy9 knows some more background I believe. I don't recall, but I think some crazy fiasco started. [Smile]

I must admit the testimonials on their website are interesting.

It does sound far fetched, but didn't it help someone here? I am pretty sure Connie Stasheim has tried it and liked it - I think she talks about it on her blog: http://lymebytes.blogspot.com/search?q=irt

(We are not the same person - ironically her blog is "lymebytes" - my site is trutaboutlymedisease.com)

I did IRT for a while. Infact i went live because i lived near by. Didnt help me out at all.

Have heard of it helping a few people.

Gary will give you ur money back after 3 secission if u dont like or belive in it.

If money isnt an issue go for it...Even though gary will give u your money back after 3 treatments. I feel it takes more like 6-8 treatment to get a real good fell
