Is there any way to increase this?
Besides lying on my bed with my head hanging off the edge?
I feel like we need a good supply of blood to the brain (duh!)... but so the abx's and herbs in our blood stream can reach the neuro-lymers.
Any supps or other ideas for this?

- Have you been diagnosed by a PET or SPECT with hypoperfusion?
Simple gentle exercise may be helpful but aerobic exercise can make is worse if the cause is hypoperfusion - or if active infection is involved. Aerobics are not to be done during active infection.
But even Tai Chi or Qi Gong exercises, while gentle, increase circulation.
It's best to talk to your doctor about what is best for you.
There is a description of a PET or SPECT Scan at 24 hours and 48 hours after aerobic exercise and it was much worse for the patient:
interesting

In addition to rechts regulat, enzymes, and those other things mentioned above, you can use Huperzine A.
An ND friend of mine recommends taking hydrogen peroxide oraly(use only food grade and dilute it way down), then invert using a slant board or inversion table. Stay inverted for about 5-10 minutes.
This REALLY gets oxygen into the brain!!
He uses this to help reverse autism, recommending doing it several times a day.
Hope this helps!
Best,

Niacin- if you can tolerate the flush. Up to 5 grams/day. Start with 100-500mg/ day and increase as tolerated- till desired effect achieved. Use with caution if liver enzymes high- it can elevate them. Dr. Hoffer used it for depression and other mental illness. Causes a flush- increases circulation to brain, etc- helps to circulate abx and with detox. Some peole get heart palps with niacin. Niacinamide is a good alternative- no flush but still inproves cerebral blood flow, depression, etc. I've heard that no flush niacin is bad for the liver. Google niacin + Hoffer. Regards, Paul I'm not a doctor- just passing along info

Well, after that E.R. trip yesterday, and since I have bartonella, I think I might as well get a SPECT scan done.
I've probably reached my deductable now, so I should be covered 100%. I hate my insurance company too, and I would like them to lose more money on me. They call themselves a non-profit organization. Ha! What a joke.
