I know that these two medicine are not usually taken together. I don't find anything in the drug interaction check.

Has anyone had success with this combo? I will be starting IV Doxy and wanted to throw in some Flagyl.

Thanks

I was on IV Rocephin, oral doxy, and oral Flagyl. Good combo. Had to stop Flagyl because I'd been on it for 11 months and feared abx resistance.

I miss Flagyl.

Has anyone else done this combo? If so, for how long and what were the results?

Thanks.

I did it for 3-4 months. Great results (probably due to sending the buggers ito cyst form)

but at least then I can deal with them methodically.

build my system back up and bust em up slowly!

Anna.

Thanks for mentioning the Rochephin and Doxy mix. I was not sure you could put those together.

So .. I think the doctors should do more combos and not so much monos...

It seems to take soo much to kill these bugs.. My goodness..

I can get rid of a major bacterial blood infection in days but not lyme or others in months and months.. seems like we can only knock down the load.... I want to think we can rid ourselves but it does not seem to be possible to get totally rid of these infections... Sucks
