I read somewhere about how to help with herx reactions is to take some Doxycyline.
Ok I thought Hmm odd.. but.. I have doxy so i will try it.
I was herxing really bady the other night and I took the doxy and a few hours later the herx just lifted away.
I have done it now about 3 times and it worked each time. Not sure why or how.?
As well I can not find that document, but I did post it about a month ago..

I wonder if it's because Doxy is a potent anti-inflammatory?
I felt like a million bucks when I started on it. Told my LLMD who said it couldn't possibly be the antibiotic effects that quickly...must have been the anti-inflammatory...hmm.

Oh, please, seriously - please whatever you read, don't take that seriously, someone had to be joking.
Doxy can produce some of the worst herx effects ever, it is a CNS drenching abx, the oral is equivalent (in studies) to IV Doxy and produce mean herxes!
It does anti-inflammatory properties, but not enough to stop a herx, ibuprofen would be better for inflammation.
As for me, a dose of 25mg of doxy (not a typo) sends me into the absolute worst herx I have ever experienced.
