I was really bad. Mostly spent my days in bed or on the couch. I could get out some with help.
I am 100% well now .... except that my family is passing around the flu and it's my turn, but even that shows I'm back to normal, I have the flu normal, just like the rest of the family.

I had Lyme for about 35 years. I had been sick from it many times, but the most recent time it took me down was about 6 or 7 years ago. Took 3 years to get diagnosed (never knew what it was before, but I did become disabled from it three other times).
Then I had three years of treatment.

I watched that Friday night and I cried through most of it. Heartbreaking and yet infuriating.

Had bad Neuro. Lyme back in 2004/05... PICC line came out early due to infection..but..
Seemed to bounce back to "normal" again.
Went from not being able to function AT ALL - you all know what that is like - to;
working full time in my Psychology practice finishing my Ph.D. Dissertation/Research got back to competitve athletics again:) living life again...happy, happy...
Then I got sick again. New infection or old? I don't know. I live in NJ. love the trails and find ticks on/in me all the time..
ISo yeah, I am sick again, but getting better with the help of a great LLMD, supportive husband and positive outlook..
I have 100% faith that I can get better again because I have in the past.
Hope is my springboard...Without it I would give up.
On days when I cannot even get out of bed, I lay in reverie of what my body felt like when it was healthy and try to keep the faith that I will walk though life like that once again.
I have not yet watch the video but will do so soon. TG

I think all the main folks featured are doing much better after treatment.

If you mean Mandy, she is doing well. She looks great, she says she still has to deal with stuff that the Lyme has caused - my brain can't phrase that right, it's not working. Neither are my parenthesis at this moment.
Anyway, you can find an interview or 2 of Mandy on Youtube.

PS Did any of you get upset seeing the one guy *again parentheses...I think was a forrester* go hiking with his kids w/o any protection? I did. I, also, got a little miffed with Dr. B.
