Hello Everyone:
I just wanted to ask if anyone else is or has ever had the same problems I am currently having. I am having a lot of problems with my nerves, muscles and spasms. I find that if I move the wrong way, such as putting my daughter in her car seat and she moved one way and I the other , I ended up in spasms. My head was stuck on one side, my facial palsy was so bad I couldn't open my eye and my arm and shoulder are so tight that they pull up to my body. After I finally can relax with some point pressure from my husband , the muscles and myself are so weak that its like having a stroke.
I have been diagnosed with chronic neuro lyme for 10 yrs now , but have had LD for probably 25 yrs. I know its affected my body in so many ways and I won't go into that now but having no control over my nervous system is really getting to be a problem.
I am currently seeing a LLMD in Maryland and she is treating me for babesia with mepron, erythromycin, and augmentin xr. She previously treated me for Bartonella and I have been seizure free for over a yr now.
I guess I am asking if anyone else has had these same problems, we are second guessing if its lyme related or something else.

Any and all input would be appreciated.

Thank you,
Lynne

When was your last Lyme treatment? I would suspect you are herxing or you have not addressed the Lyme. Really not enough info to say. Did this start after

treatment or before and with what meds was it initially treated. And how soon after starting did they start if that is the case...Sorry you are

down. It is scary not being in control. I got a lot of mine back after several months of treatment of Lyme.

Have you tried Magnesium? Works well over the long term for muscle spasms.
