I have been doing chelation every third day along with IV glutathione detoxing every day. I am also on Biaxin, Tindamax, Mepron and Rifampin for Lyme, Bart and Babesia.
Never was a symptom for me, was fatigue. Since treatment, however, I'm struggling. I've been on the above protocol (plus lots of supplements to go along with the above) and find that two days in a row of work (I am a graphic designer so this is sitting work) is enough to knock me out for a few days.
Last week I did three days in a row, including one late night for a meeting. I am still recovering!!
Is this a herx? Or is this what to expect from chelation or detoxing? I'm not used to this. it's very hard to know how much will be too much.
thanks!

Hi Laura. I have lyme/babs, and my bart test was equivocal.
I have tried so many medicatons over the 8 years.....
But I know that it took a year for me to start seeing some turn around, and that is very common. I did have glutathione infusions at one time, and those made me feel better.
I would imagine what is making you feel worse is the herxing. Keep up the glutathione because without it, my guess is you'll feel worse.
You're on the right track. Remember everyone's experience is different. So be careful not to gage yourself by what someone else says they felt.
Hang in there! :-)
