also, do you take your body temperature regularly? it's often low for many Lyme patients. I found it useful this time around (babesia relapse) to know what my temperature was. The first time I had babesia I wasn't monitoring temperature. This time, it turned out I was running a fever for several weeks and would have had no idea if I weren't looking at a thermometer. Some of my 'bad' feelings (dizziness, vertigo, chills) seemed to correspond to parts of the day when my fever was about 2 degrees above normal for me.

Note that of course for women of childbearing age, body temperature fluctuates throughout the month, being higher during and after ovulation.

Hezzer:

Whenever you are overloaded and your body is fighting infection, disease, bacteria, viruses, candida, parasites...what ever pathogen...the cumulation puts your body on overload.

The low temp is a sign you are fighting...and your immune system is activated and working. Low body temp is a good symptom to get to alert you of the problem. But it could be anything.

Like when your heater in your house is running in the winter and the house is cozy...you feel fine and don't notice it running. It normalizes things. But when your windows and doors are left open...the heater is running overtime...putting more burden on your heater...and your fuel...and you are noticing the cold. It tells you that something is wrong.

IT is like when you get pain somewhere...its a good thing to notice...that something is wrong.

You don't want to always stop ever getting pain...as that is your indicator...You want to eliminate the root of each pain, so it stops when the cause is corrected.

Same with temp. You don't want to falsely get your body to heat up....when your windows are open! You want to close the windows!!!

Also you immune system is located in your "gut". Intestinal area. Best to support this as much as possible. Most have troubles absorbing nutrients and have malabsorption in the gut. This needs to be addressed along with your protocols.

Many times with healing the gut and supporting it while clearing your co-infections, you will keep those "chilly" symptoms at bay...as your body is beginning to heal. And your immune system is not as burdened.

Your immune system can keep down the lyme...many of us are in remission, and our immune systems are finally healthy enough to do the job. There will be a time for you to detox and work on this...to get your body burden lowered...to close some windows for good!

Work on supporting your immune system, and post question about that. Many on lymenet are helpful on those subjects to give great advice and get you through this.

blessings
lp
