I tried to take cholestyramine, but it was very difficult for me and my LLMD didn't want to prescribe actos because of its effects on blood sugar.
Dr. B and Dr. S are great docs, IMO, and mold was a big piece of the puzzle for me. I had exposure to mold from my Select Comfort mattress, which are known for having mold problems.

I'm presently taking cholestyramine, twice a day.
When I first started taking it, my lyme doc had me taking it once a day along with actos for a week or two(can't remember).
I then stopped taking the actos and upped the cholestyramine to twice a day.
Have had no issues and feel as if I have had many more good days since starting the cholestyramine.

When I was experiencing a lot of brain fog, my doctor had me use cholestyramine (CSM). It was several years ago. I think I took it twice daily, maybe 3 times (?), not sure.
It helped a great deal with the brain fog. I took it regularly as directed, and had to take my supplements at a different time.
Since I've had some fog sneaking back up on me, the doctor I now see wanted me to go on actos and CSM. As I understand it, the actos helps to pry the neurotoxins off of the cells or receptors they're attached to, and the CSM binds with the toxins, and flushes them out.
I was not able to handle the Actos. It affects blood sugar, and I got shakey and spacey with it.
Best wishes.

About the artemisinin, it comes from the artemisia annua plant which is also called wormwood. According to Stephen Buhner in "Healing Lyme", "The use of one of the herb's constituents, artemisinin, has shown much better outcomes than the herb itself in treating babesia infections (although this may be because of too-low dosing with the whole herb). (page 180) So I'm wondering why you're taking both.
Re the CSM: I used the regular one, and it worked fine, although at first I was worried about using it. I don't care for using fake sweetener, I guess I trust it even less than sugar...that's just me. I continued to eat no sugar otherwise, and continued with proper diet, and stayed on nystatin and probiotics. Things worked out.
Best wishes.
