I tried taking Diflucan but it gave me what I think was the worst headache of my life so Dr gave me Nystatin instead. Has anyone tried this?

I took it everyday the whole time I was on abx. Works well!

That headache may have indicated yeast die-off.

My daughter has been on Nystatin since she started abx in November. She has had no problems at all.

I take 2 tabs 2x a day since Day 1 of my treatment. No problems, couldn't survive w/o it.

Pretty much all Lymies have taken this at one time or another, it's extremely common. It is not absorbed into the blood, stays in the gut.

i have a lot of nystatin since april of last year, with refills....i used it witout any problems...my

insurance cover me...so there's no problem with me getting my refills...in the beginning, i hardly

used them but i would fill them...im taking them more now tho.

I took the tablet form.

I don't agree with taking the liquid form as it contains sugar and I hear that the powder form is nasty.
